Ross Gerard
Stokman
Ross Stokman joined Richmond Fire Brigade in
September 1985 as a volunteer firefighter.
He was very quickly promoted to his current position as Brigade Chief of
the Richmond Brigade in July 1986.
Having now served 18 years as Brigade Chief he is one of Tasmania Fire
Service’s longest serving volunteer officers.
He
has participated in numerous task forces within Tasmania and interstate.
Ross leads an active and dynamic brigade that serves the Richmond community very effectively. His leadership and commitment to his brigade
and Tasmania Fire Service is exemplary.
He has been a fire permit officer since 1993.
He was awarded the National Medal in 2000.
